These are gluten/dairy/egg free apple pies made inside granny smith apples. We used this recipe:

We tried to choose the best looking, fattest apples to stuff with :)
If you have an apple corer, you should core it first and then use a spoon to make things go way easier. We didn’t have one and I cut through the apple twice. For the crust, we just bought a gluten free, dairy free and egg free crust from our local grocery store. It didn’t want to come out of the aluminum pan so we just balled it up and used a rolling pin and cut out the 1/4 inch strips.
For the filling, we put in 1 tbs lemon juice, 1/4 cup brown sugar and sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
